The Brief
Betfair Gaming Branding
To produce a unified promotional language across all gaming products that ties them together as a family. Ensure approach is distinctive, consistent and scale-able. The promotional style has to stand alone for each product in it’s relevant section of the site as well as serve as an entrance into the product via X-Sell promotions.
Design Considerations
The products that required branding were Casino, Arcade, Exchange Games, Bingo and Poker. Each product was assigned a colour and this colour characterises the branding for each product other wise all the branding elements remain consistent across all gaming products. The product colour as well as the product logo for X-Sell helps the customer instantly differentiate between products when the promotions are viewed together. The branding area is also used to carry copy relating to the promotion and again aids the customer in visually identifying on a busy web page were the offers are, what product it relates to and where to read.
Templates
Templates were made for all asset sizes. The templates contain multiple layout options for copy as well as set rules for margins and CTA buttons. Guides were written to be shared with the templates with the aim being that all promotional assets are consistent.
Promotional Landing Page Templates
Promotional Landing Pages were required to host detailed information for each promotion and also host functionality that was not supported by the base site. Templates were designed to continue the visual language set by the branding, maintaining a familiar style across all products whilst being accented by the products colour. The pages needed to be accessible via desktop as well as mobile devices and are fully responsive across multiple platforms. The templates also follow a modular design allowing them to be tailored to accommodate any type of content/layout.
